Hibachi sucks dude. It's a gimmicky dog and pony show. The fried rice is usually the best part, but again, just cook my goddamn food in the kitchen and lose all the ha-ya-ya bullshite.

That's not even why I don't like it. I don't like it since they put the same exact 'hibachi' seasoning on everything they cook, every time (and always too much). It's perfectly fine for the steak and shrimp, but way too funky for lobster and scallops. IDK, I just don't like it. My original post was just the obvious annoying shite, but it's much deeper than that.

Tokyo Cafe has pretty good Hibachi, but their sushi is pretty bland.

They have places in BR that cook on tiny grills that are fueled by charcoal? Your post is about tepanyaki.
