Many bands are starting to play their classic album's in full live. Steely Dan did a deal where they played Gaucho, AJA and Royal Scam in full on different nights, with Larry Carlton back on guitar....really cool.

I saw Rush for their last tour where they played all of Moving Pictures.

Which artist and album in full would you want to hear live?

Mine is Red Headed Stranger by Willie. About my favorite album ever.

dredg has been playing a lot of full album shows recently. I would love to hear any of their albums in their entirety, knowing full well that over half of Chuckles and Mr. Squeezy is 86'ed.

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea.

Jeff Mangum rarely plays any shows, would love to catch him playing that whole album.

I've noticed the trend too. I saw the Lemonheads play It's a Shame about Ray which was pretty awesome. Luckily they had stuff before and after or the show would have been 30 minutes.

Yeah Moving Pictures is only like 40 minutes so RUSH stuck it right in the middle.

I really like the trend of full album concerts for some bands, like Steely Dan. I'd love to hear AJA in full. My brother and I saw SD in Gulf Shores a couple years ago for that full album tour but saw them early in the tour schedule......they weren't doing full albums yet.

I'd like to hear the Police play all of Syncronicity.

Metallica is playing a festival next month where they're doing the whole Ride the Lightning album one night then the black album the next. Also heard STP is playing the whole Core album on their upcoming tour.

Easily it would be "Appetite for Destruction" with the original G N' R line up. It won't ever happen, but at least I got to see them in 1992.......

Foxtrot by Genesis was the first album that came to mind. Psychedelic guitars, costumes, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett, Rutherford...the album cover's cool too.

I saw the Pixies twice on their Doolittle tour and thought it was fantastic. For me, that will never be topped.

I would say the Replacements "Let It Be" would be up there, but that won't happen.

As far as possible, probably Weezer's Blue album.

Asking them to repeat a concert?

I know Umphrey's did this, they put it out there for their fans to pick their favorite live songs and then they sat back and 'learned' how to play it exactly the way they did at a particular show. They either put it on a CD or plan to in the near future.

i'd love to hear possibly a concept album live, like the decemberists -- hazards of love

second choice would be something old from a band that's still around, like the boss' greetings from asbury park
