AT A FREAKIN' WALMART!

The third Walmart to be robbed is on Westport Avenue. Hines said Daryl McNeely is behind bars accused of theft after a failed attempt to walk out of the store with $4,000 worth of fishing gear.

The story here isnt that he was busted for shoplifting...the story is that he managed to find and carry $4K worth of fishing gear out from a freaking Walmart. Must have tried to walk out with 40 Abu Garcias or something.

What could he have taken that he could have walked out with?

It's not that far fetched. Look at how expensive some of the exotic baits have become. Some at $20 a pop for crank baits.

I probably have a thousand dollars worth of tackle/baits in my saltwater tackle box.

That's a whole bunch of Zebcos...

He must have gotten a hold of some electronics somehow. There is no way in hell to carry that much.

That's not that hard if he fill up a shopping cart and pushes it out. Must've had a few of the more expensive reels, some electronics, maybe a trolling motor, etc. I could do it.

He had to of gotten out the door for it to be theft. There is no law saying that you cannot carry an item in your pocket to the register. Its when that item stays in your pocket and goes out the door that it becomes a crime.
