2013 Mock Draft

never too early is it?
was looking at a few of these. most notable is that most sites have the Saints up in the mid teens now. That kinda national doubt will make a successful season all the more sweeter.
Just for kicks Walter 2013 mock
Has us going with OT DJ Fluker from Alabama. Can't argue with the position since Bushrod is in a contract year.
More notable is them having LSU kicking first round arse...
#2 Mingo
#5 Sam Montgomery
#8 honeybadger
#19 Chris Faulk
#21 Eric Reid
#23 Benny Logan

This sounds pretty generous to me.
Faulk going in the first round may be a stretch, but it could happen.
I have doubts about Mathiew going in the first round. He's got great value as a returner, so that helps, but I think his CB value is less in the pros than in college. Not sure he'll go that early.
The other 4 are pretty safe bets for 1st round IMO.

I don't think Mathieu will be a NFL cb let alone a first rounder

He will go in the 1st round cuz he is a game changer as a returner and is a playmaker on d.

This might be going a little far. I think he has a chance to be a CB in nickle or dime packages, I don't see him being able to cover on an island in base packages. But as I've already said, I seriously doubt he's drafted in the first round based on return ability and playmaking ability alone.

Me neither. Hope he makes it, but i dont see him fitting in well in the NFL. Maybe on special teams. You never know though, crazier shite has happened.
And blues, you sure do start early

I could see him being a Finnegan-esque style of corner. Undersized but vicious with decent coverage skills. Although TM7 is a little smaller than Finnegan.
TM is definitely small for the NFL, but one thing you can't teach is instincts, and he's got great instincts. That alone will carry him into the NFL. How well he succeeds.. who knows

He's a more talented Brent Grimes.

see I think if he could get a tad bigger without getting slower he'd be a better free safety/nickle/playmaker guy especially as the NFL becomes more of a passing league...I definitely do see him being asked to be a man to man guy on the edge every down.

Agreed. I think I'm one of the few that really can't stand the guy off the field. I enjoy watching him, and I said before last season how good he'd be. His character is pure shite though. Going on twitter talking about all the cars he'll have, how rich he'll be. Just, just fricking stop.

Wait what.. even though the draft positions of the tigers is fappable... I can't think of anything besides every position I'd like to try with your avi.

So the guy who was a heisman runner up and projected by nearly every pundit to at the very least go in the second round of the draft.. you think won't even be able to play in the league?
