Started listening at work, and really liked the first few songs but got disinterested around song 6. Will give the rest of the songs a listen later.

I'm going to get it this weekend. They're one of my favorite bands. I bought their EP at Spanish moon a long time ago.

Yeah I am really loving the album so far. I really liked Carnavas and Swoon and both of them it took a few listens to to grow on me. I think this one will be the same. I don't know what it is but their music always takes me a few listens. I don't know where to put it in regards to the other two but it's good.

I cannot wait for them to go on tour. I love their live show.

i never got to listen yesterday, did changing producers change their sound? I hate it when bands do this sometimes.

I wouldn't say so. If anything this album reminds me more of their earlier stuff like on Pikul and Carnavas than Swoon. I wouldn't say the album is mellow because it does have it's moments but there really isn't anything like Panic Switch for example. Maybe others would be more helpful because I haven't been able to give it a careful listen yet. At any rate I can say for sure that there really isn't anything too different from their past work.

Damn right. They are currently one of my favorite bands. They sound much like early Smashing Pumpkins.

Very impressed with this album. You can see the growth in each album released. Make Believe and Skin Graph are great songs. The Pit is good and the album as a whole is very strong. Must have for fans of post-rock/alternative stuff.

Pulled it up when I saw this thread. Carnavas was easily their high point for me. Gonna dig in to this again and try to be more attentive.

I personally liked Swoon more than Carnavas but thats like saying I like Pepsi over Coke. Not much difference to ME.

I think Neck of Woods will top both as for as I go. Its only been a month but I really dig this albums feel.
