Just went to Calandra"s and found this pink bottle of love. Taste very ham and bacony with maple syrup. Best breakfast I've had in a while.Bought 1 and I'm goin back to get some more.Little pricey but damn well worth it.

Glad to know it's there. We passed up on it in San Diego because it wasn't THAT special but I'd like the misses to get a try of it too.

I thought it was pretty decent. I certainly don't understand the hate for it.

I don't know if I wanna taste bacon or ham in my beer, but I guess it would be worth a try.

I did the same in Pensacola... still need to give it a try. Preferably at a tasting where I'm not committed to a whole bomber.

Ever had a really good piece of Chocolate with some bacon in it?

It kind of works the same way. The saltiness enhances the flavor to me. I've had some great Chocolate back stout cupcakes before and it's the same way.

The bacon pralines at Cochon Butcher are pretty fantastic.

Shiner came out with a smoked ale or bacon ale or something. It was awful.

Exactly. There's definitely some strong feelings about this beer.

This is why I want to share it with people and not try a full bottle for myself.
