question for the live music folk

when you go to a show, small venue or arena, is there a souvenir that you buy at every show? are you a t-shirt whore? koozie king? hat haver? do you buy the CDs direct from the merch booth?

If you go to a show at a club/smaller venue and want to support the band, you should buy something if you can afford it

Doesn't matter if the show is at an arena, small venue, or a big fest I have to buy a beer. I'm a beer whore.

I am real big into concert posters, so if the band has those, especially the ones from the current tour, I'll get one.

i'm typically the koozie king.
now that i'm growing up & living in an actual house again i think i'm going to start collecting tour posters.
i used to have a pretty extensive vinyl collection but that whore Katrina went & ruined that.

I very rarely buy any merchandise. I have a few Phish posters, but other than that I save my money for drugs and booze.

I like T-Shirts, most of my shirts are either LSU or bands, a few others that I may pick up at events.

Problem is they are typically expensive at the arena because Red Hot Chili Peppers can sell $25 T-Shirts and people will buy them. When I go see Sleigh Bells next week it will prbably be more like 15.

I may just buy a coozie because it is cheap and I can use it immediately on my beer

Ill buy a tshirt in the lot. Cheaper and way more creative than the official shirts.

This is the way to do it. I've got a few WSP shirts from shakedowns. The most I ever paid for one was $10. Most would take a $5 and a beer(or goodie)

I use to buy tshirts back in the day... have hundreds (that dont fit)

Now, if Im unfamiliar with an opening band or something and I like them, I will buy a CD...

Never buy any of the other stuff...

Just bought a tshirt at the delta spirit show tuesday

re: question for the live music folk

My fiance and I go to MANY shows every year (she's actually at Coachella with my sister right now). When we moved in together, we both had a few framed screenprints from different concerts, so we decided to make a "music" room in our house.

Since then we've collected more limited run screenprints from different concerts we've gone to. They join the others, framed on the wall of that room.

Other than that, we don't really collect anything else from concerts.
