2005/07 Russell/Flynn ?
2000-01 Booty/Davey ?
1986-89 Hodson/Guidry ?
1977-79 Woodley/Ensminger ?
1970-72 Bert Jones/Lyons ?

I'm hoping for B.Jones/Hodson type performances/numbers, with Mauck/Flynn results!

Hard to imagine a much better situation on paper than Russell/Flynn/Perrilloux in 2006.

Since 07 the situation has been Jefferson/Lee/Hatch/Ham sandwich so I'd say it's already the best since then.

He is the best passer since Bert Jones. Now will he be able to put it all together, let's hope so.

no. Russell was better than Mett or Jones.

I think you are feeling the effects of the last 2 years. The guys you listed have virtually no experience leading a Tigers team. I would say it is the best situation we have had since 3 years ago. Any grander statement is bordering on dilusion.

Well, going into the BCSCG, all three of our 2011 QBs had a higher QB rating than the SEC leader. Just none of the three had enough passes to qualify. It's difficult to do better than that. You have two guys who take a lot of snaps over the course of the season, and they both outperform every other quarterback in the SEC (that qualified).

And then we had Mettenberger at 3rd string. How many teams in recent history could have absorbed injuries to their tow two guys, and still trotted out a 3rd teamer as capable as Mettenberger.

That is the very definition of a dynamite QB situation.

That small white guy on the end, he was the best.

That's a pretty good QB situation. Just no one really knew how good at the time.

A future No. 1 overall pick (don't care that he was an NFL bust) and a future NFL starter.

Rivers is a project that is a RS frosh and Randall is also a RS freshman that can't hit the broad side of a barn. This is asinine.

To give the dude credit he said "potentially" in his subject. Potential wise and talent wise these guys are up there with Russell/Flynn/Perilloux.Randall has a big arm like the other 2 but can run better,Rivers has the pedigree and Mett is a monster.
