I'm there. Taking my old man. He loves everything about grilling and such.
I will probably just leave him talking to someone for a few hours while I go drink NOLA beers and listen to some music.

Couple places I'd look for this year:
Pig Slayer, which is Cochon, Herbsaint, et al.
Ubon's BBQ, which is a competition and bbq circuit squad out of Yazoo City Mississippi. They have quite a few Grand Championships under their belt. Ask for the Beeve.
Real Pig BBKrew which is a combination of Aaron Burgau of Patois, Justin Devillier of La Petite, and Bart Bell of Crescent Pie. They also will have some pretty insane raffle items like tix for 10 to a Saints night game with a tailgate with beer and champagne.
Swine Krewe - Defending champs for a reason.
Piggy Stardust, Porkenheimer, SwineTime also great bets. And of course the Company Burger squad, which has something pretty awesome in store for their Porkpourri.

Not to sell too much, but the Market Hog is the way to go. Pay one price eat and drink all day. No messy tickets, or dollars to worry about it.
