My girl in Laffy tells me Southside done closed.
Something about a brewhaha in the family.

I thought this place was the tits with the Laffy people. I prefered Fat Pats, but thought Southside was good. Extra credits for the desserts after.

Whats the story here ?

Thats surprising..

So the sons renewed the lease ?
Then that would not be losing the lease.

Always thought when it aint broke don't fix it.

Hope they all do well however.

Wow sounds like a little more to this than losing a lease.

Lafayete's version of Family Feud.

Maybe they should get float in the next Mardi Gras Parade

Not a fan of the burger. If well done is the only way you can cook a it, then it isn't for me.

Agreed. It tasted like a Goodyear.

Father & twin sons are in a huge family feud, suing each other over "whatever". Personally, I didn't think the burgers were very good, they sucked to be exact, so I ain't gonna miss it.

This is correct. Burgers tasted like a meatloaf sandwich.

Speaking of burgers in Laffy, anybody have a Pete's burger lately? Got one a couple of weeks ago and it was horrible. Way too salty and seemed to have a bunch of filler and very little meat. I called and asked if they had changed the recipe and they said they had not. Must have been an off night.

Correction, the twins are taking over the lease on 3-1-12, opening in 60 days(ish) under a new name, Twins Burgers or something like that. They are going to maintain a similar lunch menu and a few baked items.

The dad is leaving the business and reopening Southside in a new, yet to be disclosed location.

Pete's burgers havne't been really good for several years now. Maybe they haven't changed the recipe lately, but it changed at some point several years ago. It used to have a "distinct" flavor. Now it is just damn salty.
