Not sure about the 900 but the 800 Polaris is bad arse. I have friends that have both and neither has complaints.

Ive seen more and more people get can am 4 wheelers the last couple of years. Never seen anybody with a commander though.
Looks like the only real difference in the two is size. I guess i couldnt go wrong with either

A friends dad runs can-am quads. They are simply amazing. They cost a pretty penny but are Awesome trail wise. He's worked on his and dominates the pits. Carries a ton. Well balanced. Beautiful.
Im jealous ill admit

Only one I've used is the Rzr and that thing is jaw dropping.

A good friend has a Can Am. That thing rides like a dream, the seats are awesome, It goes 0-30 in like 50 feet... Not really, but it feels like it. I'm not jealous of much, but I'm jealous of anybody that owns one of those.

If you've got the money to spend on either of those I'd get the can-am. It's more of a utility style with the sport pacakage. Probably one of the best of both worlds. The rzr is fun to ride, dont get me wrong, but thats about all you can do with it.

This is very wrong. I pull my 15' allweld loaded down through some bad shite duck hunting. I have pulled a 16' dual axel trailer with a 14' box stand on it to a very tough place.

We do that too. Got a trailer for it that we can load with firewood or whatever and pull it straight up a seriously steep hill for La. I used it to unstick a big four wheeler a couple of weeks ago by just backing all the way up to it in the hole, tying on and snatching it right out like it was nothing. Granted, it's fast, but that's not all it is by a long stretch.

Yeah, my buddy has his RZR set up with a drop rack and gun carriers. It's a hunting machine.
Last year at Mud Nationals the Commanders were not performing well at all. Lot of broke done buggies. Mostly belt drive problems I think. No way I would get one over a RZR after seeing that. Now, they were brand new so they may have fixed their problem, but that's a lot of money to gamble with getting a turd.

Fun or hunt? If its for hunt/work - ur only buy is a Polaris.

Those things are so darn expensive prices have gotten out of hand.

For hunting I'm looking at a Stealth 64 volt electric 4 wheeler. Sounds like you are looking to use yours for more sport competition...

My boss has the can-am. Its a very badass machine but mainenance in it has been expensive as hell.

I have never driven the rzr, but that can-am is scary it has do much power.

Kawasaki Mules are great and practically maintenance free.

We have had our Can-Am Commander X since they first released them. We also have two Can-Am Outlander 800's. I wouldn't trade either of our bikes for another one. The Commander is scary fast and rides like a dream. The seats and cockpit is extremely comfortable. We typically ride on the river and it does anything we ask it to do. The only negative about it is the price. We have about 22,000 in ours (I think it was 17,500 out the door) but the Razr is just as expensive. The only problem we have had with our Commander is a fan blade broke off of the electric fan within the first two months. But its just like any other bike, it will hold up if you take care of it. If you put big tires and a lift on it you will break something. We have Outlaws and a lift on it now so I am sure it won't be long before its in the shop.

Not much of an exaggeration. My best friend has the 1000cc Can-Am and it is one bad arse mofo. And the ride is very smooth, but that is likely due to the size and weight of it.

They're both totally different machines. The Commander is for working and playing. They're quick but also still have a fully functional bed. The RZR XP is more geared towards just playing around. Not much bed space but a little faster than the Commander. The suspension is what's so innovative on the XP. It's the first SxS with a suspension setup similarly to a Baja trophy truck. Trailing arm rear end with about 14"+ of travel. I'm sort of a dork about shite like that so the XP totally tickles my fancy.
