CLEVELAND -- LeBron James said he made a mistake in the way he left Cleveland and could see himself playing for the Cavaliers again.
"I think it would be great,'' James said, responding to a question after the Miami Heat's practice at The Q on Thursday afternoon. "It would be fun to play in front of these fans again.

OK. So since you are from OH, IF Lebron was a FA and said he wanted to return to CLE, how would you and the other 12 Cavs fans react?

LeBron is such an egotistical maniac who tries to appease everyone.
It's not going to happen, and he made it worse when ESPN dictated LeBron as a "villain" for NBA ratings.
Just another reason to like Tim Duncan, Kevin Durant, Steve Nash, Derrick Rose. ( ie down to earth)

I hope he never returns to Cleveland. I'd rather not cheer for the Cavs again after the way their fans treated Bron-Bron

frick Lebron. Gilbert would never resign him, and if he did the city would revolt.

I'm not a big fan of James, but I respect his skill.
Regardless though, WHY would he say that?

Didn't he say something similar like 2 weeks ago?
and by the time he's out of the Miami contract, he'll be 32 and hopefully still ringless. He won't be the same Bron Bron that he was when he left. He'll not only be a douche, but he'll be on the downside of his career.

Would somebody just shut Lebron up. He's his own worst enemy.

Doesn't your cousin run that real cavs fans site? Did his traffic drop off a cliff after Bron bolted?

Yeah, it lost a lot of the outside Ohio/Cleveland fans I think, but he used it to launch Ilthy and he's doing real well now, even better than the Bron days. BUT I'd like to think he'd really really be doing well if Bron was still there. And he never said anything negative about Lebron publicly and last year Lebron plugged Ilthy and his website. He made a good business decision at least by not jumping on the I hate Lebron bandwagon.

Why the frick is he even saying this? Is he really that full of himself that he is already hyping up his next "decision" that won't be for another 5 years.

Ya, you're right, you know more about Cleveland and Clevelanders than I do.

Why does this whole LeBron thing remind me of the hypotheticals about Saban returning to coach LSU?
/hijack
I like LeBron. I'd pull for him either way.

He wants his homies allowed to come and go as they please when he's back in the Q. It got real ugly the first time he came back, they even arrested 4 or 5 different people that had shite in a bag and was just waiting for the right time to throw it at him but luckily they got caught before they could bomb him. + the whole Dan Gilbert locking his people out of the good parking spots and VIP shite.
Now that the sting has died down and he knows he's gonna be making several trips back while he's with Miami, he is just trying to heal old wounds and I don't blame him. I see it as way classier than saying "frick Cleveland, I'll never come back!'

I'm not saying he should be saying that, he shouldn't really be saying anything regarding the subject.

I didn't read the article, but I took it as he was asked if he could ever come back. There is really no good answer he could give without one way being called a moron or a dickhead. I think he probably handled it the best way possible.

Obviously he was asked about it and no matter what he does, there will always be some faction of the public that thinks he is evil, dumb, etc.
I just think the best answer to a question like that would be "that's so far away, I'm not even thinking about that right now"
Something along those lines.
