I bought a trailer when I was in college and put it on my parents land. We put in an entire system; dig the hole, put the modad in, etc was a little over $2k.

For a camp, there is a smaller system one can use that we had put in last summer. $1500.

Put one in this past year for $2500 at a deer camp. It depends on location and whether or not you can do land overflow or must put a sprinkler system.

Mine was done in Pointe Coupee parish. It all depends on the health board in your area along with what kind of dirt you have. It is nothing but river sand in my area.

It's amazing how many towns there are in LA that I've never heard of.

This. If you can simply do a drain bed then $2500 is what to expect. They go up if you have to use grinders ect. On a 200 ft well you can expect to pay around 4K with a submersible pump. However if they have to go deeper it will start climbing. I think mine was $7 per additional foot past 200. They went 350 on mine for my house

My modad was $2500. They screwed the drainage bed up and I put in a pump with lift station myself. Pump cost $150 and isn't take long to install it.

I bought a septic tank for my houseboat at the houseboat outlet in Broussard, La. I paid around 1400.00 for it. You can go to there website and check it out. It is a little smaller than a 55 gallon drum and works great.

The problem with this is that the Board of Health will NOT pass it in my area. It is not a DIY job per them.
