It all starts upfront right?? Josh Dworaczyk getting a 6th yr is great news for the O'Line - Protection for Mett looks great and so does blasting holes for the RBs.

Getting JD back is big... But best OL in country is a long stretch in my opinion.

Lots of stud OL in the Big 10.

LSU should be in great shape on OL though no doubt.

we will have a good o-line, possibly better than we have had in a long long time, but I doubt we have even one player who would start on Alabamas o-line.

We'll be great against everybody except teams with very very good d lines. Just like this past season. Just like every season.

No change.

who on our team do you think would be starting over Barret Jones, DJ Fluker, Koujio, Vlachoes, and Warmack? Who would you say is our best Olineman? Do you think Lonergram, Faulk, Wiliford or Hurst would start at Bama next season?

OL should be definitely better and Josh will be a valuable asset from a leadership standpoint too.

I'm glad he's able to come back.

Jd has to stay healthy. That he hasn't proved yet.

Faulk would start anywhere in the country.

Faulk is much superior to Barret Jones who will discover in the NFL just how overated he is.

Lonergon would start over Vlachoes any day. Pull up the tape of the last three LSU/Alabama games and watch closely just how bad Vlachoes got whipped by our D-line.

Williford is better than any guard Bama can put on the field.

Not sure how JD would stack up...will wait to see how he looks after the injury.

Hurst is probably the weakest link on the line and would have a tough time beating out Fluker, but it isn't a wide gap in talent between the two...and Collins may turn out to be the best tackle prospect on either team.

Don't get down on yourself Boxcar Willie. A lot of casual fans can't properly evaluate OL talent. Glad I could help you out, you can thank me later.

Could be the reason he decided to stay in college another year.

JD isn't exactly the biggest positive. LSU better not guarantee him a starting spot because he is coming off a injury and before that...was a inconsistent G...

I'm all for him providing depth but I don't think he is all that talented. Especially since depth on our OL isn't a problem anymore.

I'd love to see Hurst slide to G. He played great the few times he was at G. Maybe slide Collins to RT or Washington. Put Collins somewhere on the field. Apparently coaches like Washington a lot but he got hurt last year.

Jones is considered the best returning OL in the country for 2012. Bama did lose William Vlachos who was their second best lineman. LSU's 2012 line should be better than the 2011 line. I'd say LSU and Bama should be neck-and-neck in claiming the nation's best offensive line.

LSU should have the nation's best secondary and corp of runningbacks.

I guess that's why their d-line steamrolled our o-line and our d-line couldn't get any where near McCarron

If JD is back 100% healthy and rehabed he will be a hugh positive.
