I don't mind paying this at all.

At least it's something we can look at, and then realize that we've seen the results (wins, facilities improvements, etc.).

I'm in the North and it's $235 per seat.

If yours is staying the same, I wonder why it's more in the north end????

More desirable seats... Price goes up?????

Why are some upper deck tickets $400 and some 500 section like $800?

It doesn't all make perfect sense... Supply and demand and market forces called price elasticity of demand. They are simply upping the fees where there is most demand and pricing increases won't impact renewals....

It doesn't really matter to me but the end zones have always been the same price. Funny how they judge the north to be more desirable than the south. Same seats, different endzones.

Closer to band and student section and not split upper and lower level.... And more access to restrooms in my recollection.

I absolutely prefer NEZ to SEZ any day myself and I've sat in both many times.

Fund payments are due by March 31, same as last year. Amount is also the same.

Are yours more towards the sidelines?

Mine are almost straight away.

Perhaps they've broken up the endzones and charge more for the seats more towards the sidelines?

Mine are in the first section past the sidelines in SEZ and stayed the same.

Then it's got to be a North Endzone v. South Endzone thing.

For the money, you've probably got some of the best seats in the house!

2 of my north tickets are in 244, right up against the east wall. the wall is the only thing that separates me from the $1,000.00 seats.

Bitch, bitch, bitch. Last year it was only 6 home games, including 2 cupcakes. This year it's 8 home games including Bama at night and Washington. The perpetually unhappy LSU fan is perpetually unhappy. Keep 'em or sell 'em. But stop yer whining.

If we were paying $210/ticket (more for sideline) and getting Ole Miss (or even UGA) results, I can see people bitching.

But, Jesus, you can actually see where your money is going. Anyone who has been to a game in the last 3-6 years can see all the changes on campus. They're using that money on facilities and it's paying off big time -- IN WINS.

It's not like they're just taking it and blowing it. And, if it weren't for Title IX, we'd probably see a lot more of it in the football operations. But, one look at the facilities and you know where they're spending those donations.

And, it's something they've GOT TO DO to keep up with the Alabamas, the Oklahomas, the Longhorns. When an 17-18 year old kid comes to look at your school, LIKE IT OR NOT, that's what he's looking at -- the bling factor. He wants to see that your school has the game room, the pool room, the big HDTVs in the players lounge. The parents want to see the academic center, the tutoring program, the fitness/health facilities. If you don't have it and Alabama does -- guess where the kid (and his parents) is going to want to spend the next 4 years.

We may not like the "facilities arms race" in college football, but we have to live with it to compete.
