I'll be working in Mobile, AL the next two weeks. Staying on S Water St. Any restaurants or bars that you could recommend? The board is always awesome so I was gonna see if anyone had any favorites that I should check out.

La pizzeria

I ate lunch here about a year ago. Total dive and not downtown but food was outstanding. If you are there for a couple weeks you should check it out.

Wintzell's Oyster House in downtown Mobile is worth going to at least once. I like it but it gets mixed reviews from others here.

Go to the Causeway and eat at Felix's Fish Camp. Great seafood on the bay with excellent service. Also check out Bluegill Restaurant on the Causeway. They usually have great live music at night and on the weekends. They also have great seafood.

I agree with the Brick Pit and Dew Drop Inn. Great lunch spots. Also check out Callaghans Irish Social Club for an amazing burger.

Felix's for seafood
Bicycle Shop
Callaghans for burgers

You should hit up all those places. Butch Cassidy's isn't bad for burgers either.

Don't go to the Brick Pit, it's terrible.
