Would try more if most of those were remotely available here.

For me it was:

Rochefort Trappistes 10
Westvleteren Extra 8
Stone Imperial Russian Stout
St. Bernardus Abt 12
Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast

All but 2 came from trip to Belgium.

Mine were:

Rochefort 10
Stone Imperial Russian Stout
St Bernardus Abt 12

I know I can get the Mikkeller in Slidell but I'm not a huge fan of coffee so I haven't picked it up yet. Maybe I should.

It's interesting how many beers are on that list cannot be distributed in LA, including any Bell's or Goose Island. Enjoy your Bud Light folks. If you're a beer lover, LA is the Red Lobster of beer availability.

I got 13 on the list. Not too shabby, but so many of those are 1 time brews or in such limited release that its almost impossible to find or extremely expensive.

Edit: Here are the beers I have been lucky enough to have:

Westvleteren 12
Närke Kaggen Stormaktsporter
Rochefort Trappistes 10
Bells Hopslam
Deschutes The Abyss
Bells Expedition Stout
Russian River Pliny the Elder
Westvleteren Extra 8
Stone Imperial Russian Stout
Great Divide Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout
Russian River Supplication
St. Bernardus Abt 12
Dieu du Ciel Péché Mortel

True dat. I walked into a liquor store in MS to purchase some beer. After walking around the store to no avail, I asked the clerk and he informed me that it's illegal to sell beer at liquor stores.

Sorry for the hijack. Just miffed that beer on that "top 50 beers" list is not available in some parts of this great US of A. When I go on business to Little Rock, I call ahead and stock up.

I've had 11 of the beers on that list and have 2 bottles of Westvleteren Extra 8 in my cabinet. Mikkeller, Rochefort, and Stone are the only ones I've seen in New Orleans. I tried all of the others in SF or Brussels.
