Why doesn't Rivals list Jeremy Hill?

I just noticed that Rivals doesn't include Hill in its list of LSU commitments, but Scout does. Anyone know why Rivals hasn't listed him? My first thought was that they might be including him with last year's class, but I was under the impression that he would count as part of this year's class.

Everyone except Rivals has counted him. Mike Farrell said that since Hill was not enrolled in school anywhere this year he would not count. This is the first year they have not done this. Rivals again shows you how they are heading downhill.

if hill were a 2 star kicker or long snapper, he would count for LSU.

Rivals will not count kids that are not currently enrolled in a school.

I know they can but Hill didnt even count for us last year, he never signed a LOI. Hell, Powe counted for 3 years I think.

most of the 2012 class is still in high school, the only ones enrolled at LSU right now are the early enrollees.

Who really cares? I used to be big on stars and rankings but I realized just to take it with a grain of salt. No one can tell me that some guys on a website can evaluate talent better than the coaches.

Ah, but where it matters, like on the roster and on the field, they do count......I think all the coaches know this, it's just the PR and feeding the fan bases with all these rankings.....
