Chances of an Otha Peters Offer?

Otha Peters has moved up to the #126 player in the nation in the new Rivals rankings.
Is there a chance that we will finally offer him, considering that he is ranked higher than every one of our commits, other than Torshiro Davis (Who is #125)??

I know we have a lot of LB's this class and still expecting LP to committ but I would like for Peters to get an offer. I am not sure if he would switch or not but I think the guy is going to be a bigtime run stuffer.

We go after small linebackers who run 4.4's

I'm sure the coaches are monitoring the Rivals rankings to decide if they will offer him. If he could just bump up a few spots and break in the top 125, he's golden.

Sounds kind of like Minter.
Peters is currently 6'1" 220 lbs and looks like his frame could hold more weight. What are the chances he could be a DE or even a DT?
I hope he doesn't get left out in a numbers crunch like Chucky Hunter did.

I haven't missed a player that we recruited and didn't get or one that we just didn't offer....for some reason i think he will be the 1st one I regret not getting.

Ace Foyil is still in his ear. He's waiting for LSU to warm up more

maybe after we take phillips this weekend, then we give kwon a "now or never". if we don't get him then get peters in on official visit 27th. thats if coaches are reading this board.

He's a Skipper. Otha is a Lion. Skippers and Lions are rivals.

The coaches don't really care about the rivals rankings. I do think they should offer Otha. Know him personally, great kid and hard worker...has barely touched on his athletic ability. He will progress with leaps and bounds at LSU..

Not sure of the chances he gets an offer, but I'd put him at a 70% if we do offer. If not I believe he sticks with Tennessee

Which one of our linebackers runs a legit 4.4?

If Welter, Jones, and Grainer can get an offer I have no idea how the staff hasn't given one to Otha

granier is visiting this weekend. wonder if his knees are ok or if he becomes a greyshirt guy. peters could get his spot.

they are linebackers, not rivals. Its a hell of a fraternity. Who else would you want to led Peters other than a former Tiger and best northshore LB in the last 15-20 years

Not getting offered unless we just want a guy to fill a spot. Coaches didn't like him as much as the others. Don't know why but they just didn't.
Granier is healthy and participating in track. Doubt we'll need him to greyshirt if he was still injured.
