Originally an Ohio State commit, flipped to Michigan. Plenty of "chatter" that Urban Meyer is trying to flip him back. Michigan played in the Sugar Bowl and I can't imagine Kalis, one of Michigan's top recruits, didn't make it here for the game. If so, I'm wondering if be had a UV with CLM while here. I know its speculation but if in fact Kalis is waffling doesn't it make sense for us to join the battle with this guy?. (He played with Gunner Kiel on the Army All Star East Team). I've been tracking a jet all day which took an earlier trip to Springfield, MO (home of DGB), and I can't explain why it only spent an hour in Springfield and came back to Houma, but its heading up to Cleveland - where Kalis lives...

Urban called Kalis and Kalis told him he wasn't interested. There are stories on every recruiting site about it. The newer Rivals' aarticle about Meyer has a blurb in it about it.
