We overcame those.

Blitzing, and not putting to defenders on Davis on those last 2 plays is what lost us this game.

Turnovers didn't help.

i'm not arguing, but some people don't understand that even if we don't turnover the ball its not to say we score on those drives.

we had the lead with a minute left and Williams sucked it up.

My 5 month old could h e realized this. Those two plays alone gave the game away.

He literally just gave this game away

Led to 17 points. How can you say "it wasn't the turnovers"?

if we don't turn the ball over 5 times we could have laid down on the field and let vernon davis score and still won by 17 points

who's to say they dont get those points anyway?

the only definitive thing we can say about this game is that if we stop them on the last drive we win.

That is the only thing that can truthfully be said.

Too much happens in a game for it to be decided in the first and second quarter. It put us in a bind, but we overcame them and got the lead only to have Williams rip our hearts out.

Had we never gotten a lead after those turnovers then you cold blame that. But we had the lead... TWICE!

DEFENSE and DEFENSIVE PLAY CALLING lost this game.

Period, end of discussion!

The turnovers kept causing the defense to go on the field and play. They got tired at the end because of that. So the turnovers didn't help.

Turnovers lost us this game, but we had an opportunity to win, and GW tossed it away.

So the turnovers giving San Fran a short field had nothing to do with it? Whether you overcome them or not we gave the ball to them on short field and they scored. No turnover and a punt in fourth down would equal San Fran getting the ball and having to drive and eat up clock. The turnover affected the game negatively for the saints no matter if they overcame them. Why? Because we should not have had to overcome five turnovers, they cost us points and gave San Fran points. That's the cause and effects of turnovers

20 pts off turnovers...do the math with the clock, I disagree. And their defense sucks.

The turnovers put us in those situations. You are truly stupid if you believe that. And why are you insisting on that being the case? Are you going to win money in a bet? Go away.

Our exterior line has been a point of concern for me all year. We have some of the best guards in the NFL, but I wouldn't mind us picking up an OT in the draft.

And move Harper to OLB. And then get a new safety. BT18 maybe.

BINGO!

As you said, turnovers or not, we were not guaranteed any points had we not turned the ball over.

However, had we stopped them from scoring on the final play, we win. That's a FACT.

The D held it's own for 80% of the game. They were gassed from having to be on the field for 5 extra series. This loss is not on the D.

Did you guys watch the same game as me?
