Its time for an HONEST REACTION to mondays game what what the near future holds.

We got beat. We can't and won't win every game. I am a proud LSU fan and will continue to be. However, THERE is somethin goin on that I can't put my finger on...

There will be 92,000 plus the next time LSU takes the field@ TS, They will cheer and go crazy like they always do. Will the PRODUCT be as good as this last year??? Maybe. But what if its NOT what YOU want to see???? Will you BOO if LSU doesn't score 50 points??? Will you leave at the half if they are winning goin away[ No reason to stay right]. Come on people, These are 20 year old kids that WE are depending on for an emotional lift, or a letdown. If ANYTHING THIS team and coaches NEED YOUR SUPPORT right now. I am sure they have beat themselves up enough already for what happened Monday night. I don't know how many[if any] players even read TIGERDROPPINGS. But if ANY did, I can see why they would think.GEEZ these people HATE US. SAD indeed.

Les MIles has to answer to HIMSELF about Monday night before he needs to answer to US. He is a great coach and I hope whatever happened to that team is a lesson he can learn from.

LSU the #2 team in the country with a 13-1 record. Not a bad team to be a fan of IMO.

Just my thoughts!!!

It's just normal for this to happen. We have been conditioned to see them winning.

It's funny how this NC loss is considered a bigger letdown than all the shite that happened in 08.

I expect them to win every single game next year. they will be better.

This started asking a question then went off on some ADD rant. I am confused.

I like how he implies everyone is dishonest in their reaction if they disagree with his rant and he is the standard of reality and honesty.

This has been a tough loss because of the way it went down.

Young and dumb. Got started on the back end of DiNardo's tenure here, have vivid memories of upset father and uncles in regards to LSU.

So I do appreciate not only the success under Miles but under Saban as well. That 2004 championship was the first championship that felt personal to me, but the more magical game to me was the 2002 Sugar Bowl. It was a major bowl win following an SEC championship, and I remember it snowing that night...

(:csb:)

After this game, I was in shock. Facedown on floor for a good amount of time. Probably the worst loss i've ever been through.

But the reason the future worries me is because something seems amiss, but I don't know exactly what. But something is rotten inside imo...

That feeling you get when the bottom is about to fall out...

LSU dominates an entire season - loses a game to a better Bama team - and something seems amiss?

A lot of LSU fans seriously need to get a grip - this is one game - LSU will be better next year.

I'm almost 70 years old. I have been a Tiger fan since I was a kid. I've seen good and bad. Monday night was a good old fashioned butt kicking. It happens. Life isn't perfect. It's time to move on like adults do and not sit at our keyboards crying like children.
LSU will survive. Les Miles is the best coach LSU has ever had. I've seen a bunch and he is the best in so many ways. He should be judged on his body of work which is impressive. He is more dedicated to LSU than many of the fans. Monday night hurts him more than it hurts us.
I am excited about one more year in Tiger Stadium. One more year cheering the Tigers when they run out of that tunnel. One more year of thrills and joy. One more year that might bring a few tears too. Hey I can handle that.
The most important thing is that I am an LSU fan. Have been for over half of a century. Will always be an LSU fan.

After graduating from college I moved here in 1990 and shortly there after attended my first game in TS, truly life changing experience. The tailgate, food, booze, babes I was simply in awe. Sitting in TS on a Sat night with a trashbag on for a raincoat (it does rain in TS on a Sat nite) had an old man behind me extend his flask to me with this sheepish grin, when he saw ours was empty. We lost to The Gamecocks. I've been hooked ever since

That probably misguided sixth sense I get from RR not staying on, questions about Mett's skills/character, players transferring and recruits decommitting...

But yeah one game has totally warped my perception...

Not nearly bothered by the loss, as I am Miles' refusal to make a QB change. He has preached all year we will need both to win the BCSNCG. He had a Sr. QB on the bench who started most of the year, led LSU to big time victories against top 10 competition, and showed that he can bounce back from criticism and adversity.

I understand starting JJ feeling he gives you the best shot at victory. But when he absolutely falls apart, and cannot move the O past midfield, it's inexplicable to not give Lee a series. Les has given no reasonable explanation. To me, means there is none. Miles played favorites, and JJ was the winner. That's what bothers me, not so much the loss.

I'm 30. My first game my mom was 8 months pregnant with me.

So I've been in the stands longer than I have been breathing outside the womb.

I'm so proud of our team this year. We did a great job on AND OFF the field.
