As coach Les Miles was interviewed by Erin Andrews on his way off the field at halftime. He was asked, what he’s going to do get his offense that’s not clicking going in the second half. Les responded with the quote below:

“We had cadence issues, fumbled snaps, every possible mistake was made… What’s gotta happen at this point is we have gotta chunk that and do things that we came here to do.” ~Les Miles

Postgame comment: As Miles admitted, "I told my team I did not see it coming. And that's my fault. I wish I could have done something to help them.

What is he talking about????

He felt like his game plan still had a shot at halftime. In the second half, he was too late to adjust once he saw it wasn't.

That his gameplan lacked creativity and totally is admitting that he got outcoached.

He was bewildered from the start to the finish. It seemed like he was somewhat mentally incapacitated.

Wow, it was hard to watch the game, and it was almost harder to watch Miles answer questions at half and afterward.

He wishes he would have tried JLee.

I think he meant The want necessary to give these young men the determination and will to be successful was not conveyed by me and the other coaches

It was very apparent Les had no game plan. It is hard to adjust when your not sharp enough to realize it was not JJ's night. We will never know what kinda chance we might have had by not playing JLee for a couple of series!!

Your the fricking head coach, what do you mean you wish you could have done something. This makes me believe he just sat back and let the ship sink.

I listened to the WWL post-game show and in the locker room interview Miles was almost incoherent.
Seriously.

Naa. He was right. We had a ton of mess ups. Even in the 2nd half, we kept shooting ourselves in the foot and making poor decisions. Les kept holding out home that the players would put it together. And they weren't that far off. JJ pass to Landry would have been huge if completed. But the if games gets you into losing positions. Les played it too much. We needed a spark and JJ wasn't getting it done. Not sure if JL could have but it needed to be done.

A larger question is: why does every interview this guy does need deciphering? The Rantards give a valiant try but usually come up with several different interpretations .

Bama being so aggressive. Fake FG's, throwing on first downs, etc.

that they shot themselves in the foot multiple times. Bunch of self inflicted wound.
