I am hearing from people that Lee wouldn't have performed to JJ's level had he played against Bama. Give your answer on stats. Would Lee have gone over or been under JJ's stats/production in the following areas? 1. Total Points (obviously no under here, either same or over) 2. Passing Yards 3. First Downs 4. Rushing Yards individual yards obviously go to JJ, would team have had over/under with Lee at QB 5. Turnovers

depends on the gameplan and the plays

the gameplan should have been downfield passing against bama to get them from crowding the line

Better in every category except rushing. I wish Lee would have slapped the shite out of miles and walked off the team when he was brought in for only the final kneel in the championship game.

With that gameplan, personnel wouldn't have mattered.

stop saying this stupid shite. I challenge you to go back, watch film, and post how many times Bama put more than 7 in the fricking box. They left 7 in the box all night.

Every stat would have been better in my opinion but the best scenario was to have lee start and jefferson come off the bench just like the game in nov.

With the ultra-vanilla gameplan in the first half, Drew Brees wouldn't have been able to move the ball. That being said, I think we would've scored at least a couple field goals with maybe an interception mixed in if Lee played. Maybe he could've looked up to see how Rueben running wide open down the field one of those times. Still a loss.

Over in all categories except rushing but we still lose.

This. Lee wouldn't have stood a chance just like JJ didn't.

I wish people would stop this nonsense. No qb on the planet would have did a thing with those plays and that o-line. Lee is horrible when he starts getting hit and the pass rush starts making him hurry throws.

guess we'll never know

I do know that bama had ZERO respect for jeffersons throwing ability

and why would they?

Are you gonna accept my challenge to go back, watch the game, and count the number of times, "Bama stacked the box"

Running a Power I and single back with Lee, running 60+% of the time, we win.

Part of the reason the game plan sucked was that JJ was so horrible throwing the ball in the first quarter. That and his option running totally regressed (or just played against a good D).

good point

one thing watching the replay is the FACT that JJ is LOCKING onto receivers everytime he drops back to throw.

wow. this is incredible.

+1000000

Still would have liked to see JL provide a spark, but we had no game plan. Sickening really.
