How Many People Have Actually Read the "Song of Ice and Fire" Series? To the people who have read the series, how excited are you for the month of March to arrive on HBO?

Lots of people on here have read it. I've read 1-4 multiple times. I read 5 once. I am losing interest in the series just like I lose interest in the WoT.

I guess I'm kind of excited for the next season of GoT, but I'm more pumped for justified.

Me. Yes I'm ready. Then I'll be ready in another year or so for 3rd season.

I just hope Tons of Fun finishes the series before he croaks.

I'm pretty excited. Although Storm of Swords is probably the best book in the series, Clash of Kings may be my favorite. I've re-read the Battle of the Blackwater at least fifty times.

Not trying to be the search Nazi guy, but if you search for some threads on this board, you'll find a lot of good discussion. I get excited when I see new threads pop up on here, though. Also, towerofthehand.com has shown me so much more than I ever picked up reading the 5 books.

Well he had like 300,000 sales of aDwD on the first day...so probably somewhere around 500k-750k have actually read the series.

True. In the buildup to the show and the ADWD release, there were dozens and dozens and dozens of threads.

I'm almost done with my second readthrough. I'm about 10o pages in to A Feast for Crows. I love the series, but on this second read, I find myself skimming through chapters on Brienne. I really never liked her character much, and so this time through I'm kinda "meh". It may be because I haven't read A Dance With Dragons yet and I'm in a hurry to get there.

That site seems to have not updated a lot of the ADWD info.

This is a pretty interesting essay from that site though. SPOILER ALERT - DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ A DANCE WITH DRAGONS.

I've been waiting for season 3 since the series was announced as being made, but I'm pretty excited for the next season as well.

On book 4. Least favorite of the series so far. First 3 books were awesome.

I read it but I haven't seen the show yet. I have the Blu Ray pre-ordered.

I'm in the middle of book 2. I got sidetracked and read the hunger games trilogy (much better) and am planning on picking up book 2 again in the next few days.
