"Decided to hunt a different stand this morning. It's a shorter stand (about 6') that sits in some really thick brush. I corn up the senderos, park the truck, and walk over to the stand. Of around 22 stands, this is the only stand on the lease without a lock. I shine my light on the door and the stick that is normally shoved through the eyelet on the door to keep it closed is missing. About that time, the door swings open and out walks an illegal. Gonna need to change these pants when I get back to camp."

I've had an encounter with illegals many times at our old property by Del Rio. It's startling when you find them in the stand but then you just say "vamos" and they would get up and head on their way. (always north). They were truly harmless. Never once had a problem with vandalism or anything.

I would tell him to go fill all my feeders and hand plow one of my food plots or I'm calling the jalapenos.

Lol we payed a few to help fill feeders in the summertime as well. Gave them like 40 bucks and a bunch of canned food and bottled water. We put out about 4000 lbs of food.

had a few in a box stand around Freer when I was a kid, scared the shite out of me. Always finding empty cans in the stand.
