Anybody bought a new pair of neoprene waders within the last year or two (i.e. the new models) and have any insight? Just had to retire a 8 year old pair of Lacrosse waders and going to pick up a new pair this week. Chest waders still holding good, so I'm looking at the waist highs since I mainly hunt rice fields and shallow water. The reason for waist highs is I like being able to sit down in a layout without getting wet with hip boots. Thinking Lacrosse or Hodgmann and any feedback is appreciated.

I was wet from the waist down in my LaCross waders this morning. Last time that bull shite happens. Oh, and I am thinking Hodgmann this go around.

Hodgmann
cant go wrong with these IMO. I personally wear the really thin/pants kind unless im standing in water the whole time im hunting and its super cold, in which of course i wear my massive hodgman waders.

I'm sporting a 7 year old pair of lacrosse hip boots right now. They are on their last thread, but a pair making it longer than one year for me is impressive.
