I hear and read all this about JoPa being like a dictator at PSU? And Saban being the most powerful person on Bama's campus. Is Miles so powerful that he could defy the Trustees and chancellor like JoPa has done in the past?

I don't think he has the power Saban does, let alone Paterno.

All I know is that if this were to happen in Baton Rouge, there wouldn't be any riots for Les.

Are you kidding? Think about it. If LSU by chance loses against Ole Miss and Arky the whole state will be calling for his head again.

Joe Pa had two consecutive seasons in the past ten years where Penn State won a total of 7 games and kept his job. You think Les would get away with that?

More powerful than the other coaches, but not nearly as powerful as JoePa and Saban.

The LSU fan base is more powerful than most fan bases IMO, because we are more vocal and irrational than most fan bases. If this scandal happened at LSU, I shutter to think of what campus would be like.

I'd riot for Les. He's a nice guy.

Or the SECCG or the NC game, or whatever the next game LSU loses is...even if it is 2 years from now.

Probably the AD, as well. I'd say it stops there, though.

Miles has all the power he wants. He just doesn't want more than he needs.

I think this is what makes him so uniquely "RIGHT" for the job. He has an innate ablility to know the right way to handle things....fact is...and I hate to admit I was wrong...but we got lucky when we got LES!!!!

Gonna say that is a huge exaggeration. Some of you get the idea that the anti Les contingent is larger than it is, simply because they are 'louder" on a message board.

Les has sufficient power to beat bama like a drum!!!!!! That's all that counts!
