I was wondering who everyone sees as possible future sec candidates I'm just going out on a limb and saying will end up 16 and don't believe any of those will be from the acc so I came up with only 6 possibilities obvious a&m then I think wvu will be 14 then think the last 2 spots get tricky with possibilities of mizzou usf Louisville and tcu think all bring something different but I personally would like to see usf get in as a possible future power

I was wondering why his original post was difficult to read.. Just couldn't put my finger on it. Thank you for helping.

Mac's desired additions:

East:
Florida State
Clemson

West:
aTm
.....OU? IDK, no team that would be in West really "fits in" with the SEC.

This would all go much smoother if money wasn't the driving factor behind all these decisions.

I want to know how you find the ampersand but not the comma.

Go ahead and absolutely scratch off USF, TCU, Louisville from your list. The SEC will stay at 14 before we would ever....ever, consider adding any of those 3.

The serious candidates are:
WVU
Mizzou

FSU
Clemson
NC State
Vatech

Commas are an advanced skill. I would have settled for a period, literally A period.

Agreed, but I'm going to modify a little bit what you said - not that these next 4 teams are not desirable, but...
The $20 million buyout apiece teams are:

FSU
Clemson
NC State
Vatech
The four together are $80 million worth. Two of them together are $40 million. That's a lot of cash for most of us, conferences included. Maybe a Federal bail-out could make up the difference?

USF is not really an option because the SEC already owns than TV market.

Everyone has OU & OKST to the PAC, but I would include them on the SEC list.

Even if we didn't, they have absolutely zero tradition and bring almost nothing. Hell, they've only had a program for a short while. They are just a horrible, horrible fit. I am boggled as to why their name keeps getting brought up. If we are so desperate to go to 16 that we are pondering those guys, I would rather just stay at 12 or 14.
