This is what's different to me about this LSU defense over most in the past. The first defender makes the tackle most of the time.

Mullen needs to lower the expectations for MSU. If they can go 8-4 or 9-3, that will always be a very good job for them. They simply don't have the players to be able to compete at a championship level. Sure, every once in a blue moon they might make it to Atlanta, but to think they can always be near the top of the sec is just unrealistic.
