Holy crap. THIS is why I have gotten blasted in here

I don't post here a bunch. In the past, when I've said something negative in here, people have gone nuts. Now I See why. Jeebus, you would thing from the posts in this board that we had lost to oregon and beaten NW 17-7!

The worst thing to ever happen to the LSU fanbase was a NC in 2003. Since then they are not satisfied unless we win every game 65-0. Sad, But true.

The undue and unnatural hate for a player because of pick-6's that happened three years ago is astonishing.
People ought to instead recognize the gonads it takes to stay the course, take the heat, accept it, and keep trying, keep helping a team win despite the flaws.
It's called character and Lee has it. Plus LSU is 2-0.

Oh, I agree. The clean win versus a rent-a-win was great to see, made for a relaxing night except the Lee vs. Mett crap on here.

I dunno, it hasn't seen as bad this time around. After we beat Oregon, if you dared to say, "AWESOME, we just beat the #3 team in the country!" there was an automatic smack down of "settle down, they were WAY overrated!" and the sentiment was that because we didn't do it with 300 yds passing, it did not bode well for the future. I really got a sense of not being allowed to enjoy the win on any level, like a fair percentage of (posting) fans thought you must be brain-damanged it you were taking that win to mean ANYTHING about the future and because you couldn't use it to extrapolate a trophy at the end of the year, how DARE you even bother to mention it... After last night, it just seems like some minor back and forth about whether Mett is better than Lee, but not the doom-and-gloom of last time for the most part. Hey, when we beat MS State, people may actually start to smile around here!

When was the last time LSU has come out and dominated from the first kick like that vs. an inferior opponent? The last few seasons it seems like these types of games have been about as enjoyable as watching Roesanne Barr sing the National Anthem.

Well, I have a legitimate gripe.
There were far too many touchdowns in the SEZ and I was in the NEZ. We need to do something about that.
