Welcome to the DC area!

I normally watch at home, but I'm told that Chadwick's in Old Town usually has a good LSU crowd.

Apparently Arlington Rooftop Bar is the new LSU bar in NoVa.

How about the 18th Ammendment? Will be in DC in a few weeks and heard that was a LSU/Saints hangout?

We're going to Summers near the Courthouse metro in Arlington. We've got some friends who are part of the Oregon crowd that watches their games there.

Normally we watch the games at the house with my brother and some friends. The alumni group is watching games at a place called Rooftop (also near Courthouse, apparently), but I find that the alumni group rarely is as into the game as I like to be. A lot more socializing and networking/work chat. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just not what I look for on gameday.

18th Amendment is okay, just really small. Arlington rooftop is massive.

I'm an LSU alum and an Alexandria native, we'll I moved to Richmond 2 years ago but know the area well.

-Old town Chad wicks have small TVs and not very many of them. I've never seen it as an "LSU" spot.
-Arlington Rooftop bars will all be overrun (and I mean packed) with the 21 crowd and isn't great for sports viewing, or personal space.

If I were you and were interested in sitting amongst LSU fans go to Ballston Mall and go to Baileys. That is where the alumni chapter gets together for games and they turn out a big crowd, just get there early.

There are tons of other sweet places to watch sports but if you're looking for an LSU crowd you need to go to Baileys.

Awesome, I'm in Manassas, but maybe I can make it out to Arlington, I have to work in the afternoon so it just depends, but definitely for the next games! Glad to see there are a lot of other alum in the area.

I watched a game at Baileys a couple of years ago and felt like I was babysitting.

I'm pretty sure the Alumni chapter is going to start meeting at Arlington Rooftop Bar this year. That's what I've heard, anyway...

I live in Courthouse, so I'm pretty excited about it.

I live in Courthouse, so I'm pretty excited about it.

Me and the wife went there for the Spring game, and they accommodated us really well. A few dozen LSU alum/fans showed up, and the bar had a significant section roped off for us, with the sound on the whole first half. It will be massively better than Bailey's which sucked huge arse IMO.

That said, we LOVE watching at 18th Amendment, though we live like 3 blocks from Arlington Rooftop. It's worth the trip. When games are on, it's an LSU bar, straight up. Abitas on tap, game on every TV except some of the little ones above the bar, game sound on and they play stuff like the first down song when appropriate. If you get there just a little early, you can get a sofa. But since Rooftop is so close and easy, we'll be there some of the time. Not for Oregon though
