I read this story about the scrimmage and What CLM says about the RB leaves Ford completely out. Did he perform that badly? LINK
Is he in trouble or something?

Someone is always in the doghouse according to the rant.

Keiland was in the dog house

Shep has been in the doghouse

Richard Murphy was in the doghouse at one point

It's all unsubstantiated rumors

he's not a pet. miles did the same shite with him last year and to Keiland for his last 3 years. Miles even tried to give his reps to the Alfred Blues of the world last year before finally deciding he'd give the best players a chance to play sometimes.

Ford is in the same doghouse that Jordan Jefferson is in. One that doesn't exist...

All i know is when Ford got good playing time he showed signs that he could be a huge contributor to the team. He wasn't just out there he made plays with is limited time on the field. I read a lot of posts but i rarely read something directly negative about Ford so i am asking just incase i missed something.

He got benched because he fumbled a few times. He was a true freshmen on the field in the SEC

Plus, he got hurt and was out for multiple games. Ford was good when he played, but if you noticed, 90% of the plays he ran where option plays.

Miles doesn't think he is tough, that is why he isn't high on him. Was just like Keiland, he'd always look for the outside shot and be very timid on inside running. Ford appears to have the same problem and isn't finishing runs. I've been hearing this since he got on campus. Was all over the radio stations when he first came to campus...

He'll probably be a player Miles always sees that has more potential than he is displaying I guess...

So in a sense, doghouse? Probably. He almost never mentions him in interviews anymore.

Its because Ford hasn't been along as long as Ware, Gore, or Blue, Miles loves seniority. Oh wait. No, I got it, he wasn't mentioned with those guys because Miles loves big bruising RBs only. Oh wait, I guess Gore isn't exactly Ron Dayne....

The truth of the matter is, whither you are playing a troll part or are serious Max, time proves the "Miles has a detrimental pattern of behavior towards a certain type of talent" arguments wrong.

Duece985 nailed it. Watching the backs run sure helps one realize why some play more than others.

williams was a damn good back who Miles decided to randomnly bench in 2006 and never saw the field again.

His running made the 2006 team the best in the country, but Miles decided to bench him in the Ole Miss and Notre Dame game.

This is most likely what it is. He did it w/KW too trying to motivate him but KW still saw the field. To say he didn't finish runs i don't agree with because you rarely saw him getting tackled 1 on 1 and when he was going sideways it was running from "jerseys" not just 1 player. I can definately see the KW treatment though.
