Parish Brewing Co. is expanding -- Lafayette area beer (Canebrake & Biere Amber)

I know I've seen Parish Brewing Co. pop up here a few times, so I thought some of you might be interested in this article. In the interest of full disclosure, I did write it.

The new brewery will put out more beer in the first day then he did in all of 2010. (Well, so he claimed... and Andrew's a good dude, so I believe him...)

we wont get it in the Chuck, but if we do it wont last long, this is the home of the macro-brews

He told me that isn't happening for now. He said he enjoys his day job and is good at it, so he won't quit it until he absolutely has to. He said that's more than a year away.
Once Parish is selling across the state by mid 2012, he said he's going to ease into other markets in the region.
He said he wanted to do releases right in each market -- with events, promotions, etc. Rather than trying to go everywhere all at once, he's wading into it.

Yeah, it has a pretty good selection too... not quite like a few of the ones in Houston but close.
