Got a pound and a half smoked salmon as a gift from a friend who took an Alaska cruise. It's vacuum sealed and I haven't opened it yet. What would be a good use for it?

Lucky.

Eat it just by itself with some crackers or it goes great in pasta dishes. Homemade pizza too.

Cream cheese and capers for sure. Also add some purple onions.

Crackers and mustard selection. Creole and Dijon are great with smoked fish.

If you go with CC, capers and purple onions, don't forget boiled egg

I used to work in the kitchen there. I'd have one of these once every couple of weeks.

It's pretty good, but not my favorite. We got a free sandwich every shift so I tried most of them.

I'm a big Reuben fan so I'd make those quite a bit. I'd use half pastrami and half corned beef though. MONEY!

AS far as the bagel sandwiches go, the Mulberry and Broadway's Best are really good.

The biggest seller was the Brooklyn Bomber by far though.

You could also crumble some up in sour cream/mayo with some herbs and make a smoked salmon dip.
