Do you want there to be more Harry Potter books?

If it were up to you, would you want "official" expansions written in the series? I know many people would think continuing the series would lessen its quality as a whole, but I personally would love to see something created along the lines of Star Wars Expanded Universe. Obviously a lot of trash would be written but if each book/story and author was approved by JK Rowling I think some really good stuff could be made. Discuss.

As much as I'd like to see shows/books that I like go on, I think it's better to go out on top. Leave me with a good feeling, don't wanna watch anything eventually flame out.

No.

The story finished.

If Rowling can come up with a new story in a new setting with the same amount of imaginative details as HP, I'd be the first in line to buy it.

I think it would be cool to have a prequel book, that would be like JK Rowling's parting gift to the Harry Potter world (kinda like Halo Reach being Bungie's farewell to the Halo series). I would only want 1 more book though, but of course if they made another HP book there is no way they would stop at just 1. So, yes I do want another book but not books.

Some dweeb would come along and write about Harry creating a horcrux or Voldemort making an alliance with a cloning company to have himself cloned doubling his horcruxes each time he's recreated.

Like Luuke Skywalker (no typo), Palpatine's clones, and Luke Skywalker joining the dark side - stick to the main scripts. Don't let the series go off in new directions.

The one thing I could see her doing would be a prequel.

I'd prefer to see it end like this. But just wait a few years, Rowling will get itchy to be relevant again and write another sequel. I think the title Dirty Harry Potter has a nice ring to it.

Not Harry Potter per say, but I wouldn't mind if she did some novels expanding upon the Wizarding World. Maybe a prequel on Voldemort between his times at Hogwarts and beginning the first Wizarding War could be really interesting if properly written.

If she does write e new one:
I think it would be cool if she wrote from a different school/country or part of their history.

Nope I was tired of the whole series when there were still two books left. I got through it. It ended well. I was satisfied. Please J.K. no more.

I think it should be left alone. There's no reason to mess up something that worked. That being said, I fully expect something new to come out in a few years. Probably a prequel about Harry's parents or maybe Voldemort's earlier years, or a series of books about Harry's kids. I have a hunch it will be the latter.

A prequel would be aesome.. About voldemort at hogwarts and the first order... Maybe Dumbledore vs grindewald... Anything after the second wizard war wouldn't be as good tho

I don't know how this hasn't been mentioned, but if she wrote something it would be awesome if it was along the lines of "The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore".

I would be have been happy if she would have just made the final chapter of the series, and its resolution a few pages longer than chapters in previous books about quidditch.

Yep. I still want a full accounting for the exact dead from the Battle of Hogwarts.

I have not read any of the books or seen any of the movies.

So I guess my answer would be no.

she's actually said several times in the last year that she wouldn't rule it out, which was a change from her previous stance.
