Unsuccessful hit put on college mascots family
The father and sister of North Carolina State Wolfpack mascot Tuffy were the victim of a failed hit. The dogs along with two others became seriously ill after eating fish laced with antifreeze. The ORLANDO SENTINEL reports the seafood was left on the property intentionally.

All four dogs are recovering at a Virginia animal hospital. The dogs, which are Tamaskan, included 3-year-old Blaze and 2-year old Kana Ti, the father and sister of the Wolfpack mascot. A 1-year-old male and a 5-month-old female were also being treated for the poisoning. Tuffy has been the Wolfpack live mascot since September 2010.

Bro, I read the first half of the first paragraph thinking it was the father and sister of the costumed mascot. I didn't know where you were going with this.

On a side note, I think we should stick with sire and littermate when speaking of dogs.... imho.

I know someone whose neighbor murdered her dog by pouring antifreeze on a pizza and throwing it in her yard.

I hope her neighbors have a very painful death.

Oh, this person is a real piece of work. He kidnapped and abandoned another of her dogs last year. She thought it was dead, but she later found it at Animal Control. Fortunately, someone found the little guy.

If I knew that I could get away with it, some things would happen to him...

This kind of thing went in my old neighborhood. Pretty pathetic.

I was unaware that people cared enough about NC State to do anything malicious to them...

Its easier to put a dog on a leash and walk it around the outsides of the field rather than throw a wolf in a cage and keep him locked up in a tight space for 4 hours

The Jesuits don't roll that way. They would have hatched a plan that would have involved orchestrating North Carolina politics and somehow would have involved Wachovia and Bank of America, leading to the untimely demise of the dogs by sinking them on the Titanic II.

@ Jesuit political remark

But seriously, whoever is behind this is a true criminal and should be treated as one. I don't care how deep the rivalry runs, to try and poison the team mascot animals is truly sick and stupid. Hopefully the moron posts something on facebook soon bragging about how awesome they are....
