Exactly.

DiMaggio belongs on any all-time "five tool" list.

Even though I don't care for him would Rickey Henderson garner any votes for this?

yeah this just got me thinking where would you put Ivan Rodriguez in this list? not saying he should be top 10 but he really had it all IMO but would you consider him a 5-tool guy?

I would put Nelson Cruz on that list personally. Every bit as talented as Josh and the others.

Wiki defines it as both.

Sure, but he was not all that great defensively. Despite his speed only played LF, and had a Johnny Damon-type arm. But probably dominated a baseball game on offense unlike anybody I've ever witnessed not named Barry Bonds. Of course, Rickey was likely juiced out of his mind as well.

If they don't have the arm, they can't be on this list IMO

Sammy Sosa is a pretty good one as long as being clean is not a prerequisite.

Some would say Duke Snider, but I'd say like the Babe, the SBs aren't there. Not a knock on their abilities though.

Hard to argue against Joe Morgan IMO.

Robbie Alomar?
Paul Molitor? (no d)
Craig Biggio?
Johnny Damon? (no arm)
Ichiro?

Underrated guy:

Bobby Abreu

He silently racks up stats.

Gary Sheffield
Jose Canseco (minus the D)
Dave Winfield

How about Ernie Banks? He didn't steal a lot of bags, but he manned SS for years.

Dale Murphy

Hands down the greatest baseball player ever invented. Not only did he amass 398 homeruns in just 18 seasons, he did so without alcohol, caffine, blowjobs, or any other vice that all these other "baseball players" abuse on a regular basis.

Not me man, I was just dicking around. He was my idol. I've went to see him play 20+ time and I'm sure my mom still has somewhere the dozen or so Murph poster I had on my wall as a kid.

I love Murphy but Eric Davis belongs on the list before him.
