So I have been trying to find a beer that I actually enjoy. The following is my list of tried beers and my thoughts on them:

Coors -- Most enjoyable Beer to me
Coors Light -- Liked a good bit
Heineken -- Hated
Dos Equis -- Second Favorite
Miller Light -- Cheap tasting
Abita Amber -- Like a Good bit
Sam Adams -- Didn't like it
Blue Moon -- 4th Favorite
Corona Extra -- 3rd Favorite

I'm open to a lot, I also don't know much about ales vs. lagers.

Help me out and point me in the direction of some good beers that I may enjoy. What is your take on Shiner Bock?

Sounds like you like a lighter/non-heavy beer (not implicating light as in bud light or whatever).

If you are open to darker beers, Lazy magnolia Jefferson Stout is good and smooth.

Give shiner a shot, not bad, kinda sharp taste, but I like it.

I dont like much Sam Adams but I do like the Boston lager, Im not sure which you had but that was prob the one.

If you don't like heineken stay away from stella artois and peroni (taste skunky imo)

Haha, give him credit, he didnt say bud light, and for the price its a decent drinking beer.\

I'm more critical of his Corona placement

Try Red Stripe. Really good. Shiner Bock is high on my list.

I can't do the Coors/Coors Light bit, though. I like Dos Equis and Corona. You'd like Sol, another Mexican beer.

I like Coors every few years, but I have to agree, your taste is plain poor. You didn't like Sam Adams????? Just buy the cans that say "Beer" and have fun.

Based off of what you liked best, you should try Tsingtao or Sapporo.

Asian lagers tend to be a lot more flavorful without being overpowering in flavor or too heavy for someone used to the watery, mass-produced American stuff.

Also, they are around the price of Shiner. Shiner is also a good choice, especially with a hamburger.

I never really liked this one. Maybe he should just stick with bourbon.

You should probably stick to witbiers and Pilsners maybe try Hefewiezens too.

So Try:

Pilsner Urquell
Hoegaarden
Paulaner Hefe
Also try:
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Sounds like you like a light tasting beer...
Try Red Stripe... I've never had the lite version, but the original is one of my favorite lighter beers.

Also you mentioned not liking Sam Adams, but you didnt specify which beer it was, I assume it was Boston Lager. Try Summer Ale when it comes out in May, its by far the lightest of the SA seasonal brews and is very different.

Shiner Bock and New Castle also sounds like your types of beer. I'd also try Anchor Steam

If you like Dos Equis and Corona try Sol or Pacifico. Much better Mexican in my eyes.
