Appears Taurus heard the complaints that the 410 heavy revolver was inadequate for home defense. The new Raging Judge chambers 5 28 gauge shells and has a red fiber optic sight.

It's the perfect weapon.

Everyone needs at least 3.

With no pistol cartridge, I have to say it's kinda dumb. OTOH, 5 shots of 28 gauge buck? I'd rather be shot at with any other handgun by a nervous home owner.

Pretty sure it isn't going to happen. The gov't said its a short barreled shotgun so that killed the idea.

My 1st wifes grandfather, had a old 1100 28ga bird gun. 1st wife wanted to deer hunt with me she picked the 28 because of it's light "no" kick I would load shells with 4 45cal round balls and corn meal to cushion the round balls.
at 50 yards my hand loaded 45cal buckshot all 4 of them bead on, with less than 3 inch pattern.
she took two doe with the 28.

I don't know why you guys are giving the Judge such a hard time. Would you want to be shot at point blank range with 5 00 buckshot pellets?

My buddy owns one and it's a snake killing sob!
