Here is a link to some pictures of a cougar in Louisiana. I personally know the guy. Owner of the lease will kick them out if they came forward with where this is exactly.

Guy sent me the picture. I posted them. The guy almost got kicked out of the lease. No more pics even of other animals was sent to me. I know two guys in this lease so it isn't them pulling a fast one.

I have 3 family members that have all seen a black panther this year. The area is north of Kentwood in a small community called East Fork. An uncle saw it crossing a field, said it was about 3 feet tall and 4-5 feet long not counting the tail. My cousin saw it the next day chasing a deer about a half mile from where our uncle saw it. The doe came out in the opening running and looking back, so he was expecting a buck to be chasing. He was shocked when he saw the cat and didn't shoot. This was behind his dad's house. I say that because about 2-3 weeks before this, the cat walked about 10 yards in front of his wifes car while she was driving up his dad's driveway. It was just before daylight. There was also a neighbor that saw the cat while fooling with his cows during that same time frame.

Wildlife and fisheries can say what they want.

What's really amazing is how they seem to outnumber the brown ones

Is anyone seeing black bobcats?

what causes this?.. probably years of reading reports of florida panthers and LA being in the historical range.. and people assuming panther meant black...

heck I have seen plenty deer that looked black in waning light or shadows..

That actually scared me a little. Almost bought a Judge to carry while hunting.

And for the record, I saw a black bobcat three weeks ago. Twice. He was just as black in the scope. Should have shot him but I was still trying to get a deer.

Dude I've already seen a pic like that my buddy sent me.

They told me there were no Wolves here either but damned if I didnt help drag one out of the woods.

Scariest looking thing you could imagine.
