Shotgun formation inside the 5

What dumbass thought to himself "I think it'll be a good idea to use the shotgun formation when inside the opponents 5" so that we have an extra 5 yds to go? It makes no sense.

I'm not saying they don't deserve to be here but if they plan on winning this game then I'd change that formation real quick because it doesn't work against a decent defense and Auburn is significantly better than decent.

I watch more than you know. It may work in the PAC 10 because no one has a sound defense in that league.

That's exactly what I meant when arguing my point to the people who believe this crap is a legitimate playcall formation. Get your QB in there and throw a quick slant or quick sneak from under center. That way you have 1 yd to score instead of 5.
