wow, I've never seen a more evasive coach in a situation where the coach is a clear candidate to be offered elsewhere. If there was any doubt as to whether he's leaving, there's none now.

I actually loved how he handled it. The questions are stupid and are never answered and shouldn't be in the light of the situation. Imagine a coach saying "yes I'm so proud of this great orange bowl victory and my time here and Stanford and I'm proud to say I'm leaving for a better job", in front of his entire team and supporting fans after a moment that is about that team and fans and NOT about him. Media idiots take the game and create shite while taking credit away from the team and putting it on another singular person, it's the epitome of what American culture has become ME,ME, ME, I, I, I.

agreed. Andrew Luck handled his situation better than his coach, IMO.

I'm with KUNKA. The questions are never answered, they're ridiculous and a waste. Whoever tells the reporters to ask those questions need to get

I love any man or woman that embarrasses ESPN and their reporters.

What exactly did he say? I walked away from the TV for a few minutes.

nothing really. He just wouldn't answer any questions. He basically said, talk to the players, they deserve all of the credit, then walked away from the microphone. I don't like this era of in your face questions, but it's been like that for quite some time and you'd think that he'd be used to it and/or handle it better. Luck was great at. Presser on now, we'll see what happens when he can't walk away.

Here we go...I thought he'd deflect. So no more questions about that now.

I liked Jim's request to respect the game and players and not ask those questions. Let's see the weasel journalists (read: english majors who love free food) honor his request.

he even turns to Andrew while he's talking like he's really interested in what his player is talking about not just starring straight or fiddling.
