Can you not play all your games at home? How do they determine home games? Seed, bid, if lower seed upsets higher seed lower seed assumes that seed?

The higher seed will play home in the top 16 to startm with the lower 16 traveling.
then it determines the last one who played at home and won their game, when the second round starts the last one that played away (and won) then gets the home game
unless both where at home and both won, then the higher seed gets the home game.
but eventually a team will have to travel as the bracket shinks....
I hope this is ok and not to confusing

not if you play four home games to get to the dome
it's happened before

Sucks for Vandebilt to travel about as far as you can travel in the state in the SECOND ROUND.
I was hoping they could make a run after TJ Cantrelle was killed.
BTW, I get the rules for home games and seedings. But I don't think teams should have to travel 5-plus hours in the first or second rounds. They should try to keep these teams as close to home as possible early.

Pretty firm in all but Dutchtown/Bro Mart, and Aug/Ouachita.
And you can never really count out Westgate, but Higgins is playing pretty well right now.

So, Acadiana's penalty for using an ineligible player is they get Zachary, St. Paul's and potentially STM at home.
Clearly, they are making the system work for them this year.

no they will travel the next game no matter what.
they are a home team this week. if st. pauls wins they are the higher seed so st. pauls will get a next round home game. if st. pauls is upset the road team will get a home game if acadiana wins.

Not too sure, but if Acadiana beats zachary (big if), then they will have one home game to St Pauls 2 home games. I think acadiana would get St Pauls at home.

STM will pummel Hahnville, if its a close game i'll be shocked.

I'll go with crowley over carrol and westgate over higgins.
And i don't think WM loses, but playing a 3-5A team in the second round? Lets just hope they don't fumble 13 times again
j/k

Prepare to be shocked then, Hahnville may not win but I'd bet they put some points on the board. If the Tigers don't turn the ball over they can keep it close. In their loses to Lutcher and ESJ, they turned it over a bunch with most going back for TD's. They lost to Dutchtown on the road by 3 and had only 1 turnover and it was at the D'town goal line.
This past Friday they played a game less than 24hours after a player was killed in a gun accident, it was tough for them to be up in a situation like that.

I'm sorry to hear about the player, my prayers go out to him.
But i'm just gonna say that STM is on a whole other level than anyone right now, and if ESJ's performance against Acadiana is any indication on how hahnville will stack up against STM then i just don't see it being close. STM is far superior defensively and offensively to just about everyone except for maybe West Monroe. But hell i hope hahnville puts some kink in that armor, i really do.

I think this game is gonna be much closer than most people expect.

Hahnville had a hell of a West Jeff team on their hands, Friday night, but held them off. West Jeff was a heck of a big-numbers offensive team, this year.
