Just heard from a friend that Chris Garret interviewed with espn outside the lines over the weekend. That is the extent of what I have heard. Anyone else know what this is about??
Sorry if Germans.

Dunno, but I'm gonna guess it is regarding issues outside the lines.

If I had to take a wild-arse guess, I'd say OTL is going to do a story on college football and the "cutting" of players, and this will be a portion to illustrate the "cold-blooded nature" of the sport. Expect to see/hear about getting his scholly yanked by FedEx, etc.

Northwestern's Global outreach dept is introducing Sumo Wrestling this Spring.

I would also guess it will relate to the NYT's article on attrition, forced or otherwise.
I can't imagine that Chris Garrett would be an appropriate example of this.
If so, Garrett is going to get the blunt end of this deal, but of course, ESPN doesn't care.
They should look for a case where a kid is medically discharged, then goes on to compete elsewhere.

I'm sure that Bama player will be interviewed as well on medical hardship
They need to ask Garrett why he can't get playing time at NW State?

Yeah, that's what I mean about Garrett getting the blunt end of this.
He should have declined to be interviewed.
Who knows, they may not even use his interview. I imagine if he came in at Northwestern and showed some promise, ESPN would use that angle, but all I see at this point is further humiliation for Garrett.

probably doing a feature on JMFG and want to get his input. Flying Greelys tied for the conference lead.
