The grind is killing me. When does this get easier?

Usually doesn't because then you have to grind to maintain

Long time no post... 209 on the scale today.

I've lost focus and need to get serious again. Still haven't recovered from Holidays. 199 is the goal again.

Thanks bro, 208 today, maintaining seems just as challenging as losing.

I'm not counting carbs, but I'm making better food choices. Lower carbs is part of that but for me portion control is the main thing. I haven't had any alcohol since Xmas. That's been tough because I feel bored on Friday and Saturday nights. I have also been walking, running, and cycling in addition to the diet modification.

My biggest thing was getting my diet under control, and I joined up with Nutrisystem and ate on their food plan for about a year. I followed it pretty religiously. The first 50 or so pounds I lost was from diet change only, and then I slowly added in cardio and the gym. Gym gains are tough on 1500 calories at 250+ pounds though

I had a major issue with binge eating, going on Nutrisystem for that year and getting a much better understanding of portion control has helped me tremendously in my fight to maintain my weight loss. That and stepping on the scale on a regular basis to keep myself in check (along with this thread)
