Looking at buying an electric cart. Any recommendations? BadBoy, Stealth, E-Z cart, others? Would like 4wd but not absolutley necessary. Who has the best pricing?

4wd (2 seater)BadBoys at Bass Pro Shops are in the 10K range. Thats pretty high I think.

I would look hard at a converted golf cart if 4wd is not a must.

Stealth, I purchased one last year and absolutely love it. I got the 4X2 and it is a beast in the mud. Much better built than the bad boy. They are pricey but you get what you pay for. Oh yeah, I shot a 10 point last year off of my stealth. They are quite and you can really sneak up on deer.

I don't know if I would admit this.

As long as it's not moving I believe it is fine.

Look, do what you feel is right, but you said that they were great for sneaking up on deer.

I think what he meant was that he was driving to his stand, parked it and shot a deer as soon as he got off of it. The deer just happened to come out at that moment.

Yeah, can you pull up to a food plot with a 4 wheeler, get in your stand and the deer never know you were there. I think not.

I'm thinking I'd like to get one, but when the batteries die you have to buy a multitude of them and they're high as a cats arse.

My buddies father has the Badboy. Has had it for 3 or 4 years and has had nothing but problems with it. Now he doesn't use it because it's too much trouble.

Plus when the batteries go out in about 3yrs you will spend about $700-900 for a new set.

Also it is much easier to tell when a four wheel is going to run out of gas than when an electric cart is going out of juice. I have heard of a few people having to walk back to the camp. The 4wd is hell on the batteries.

I purchase all ours as used carts from Golf Courses and then get them converted. It's cheaper and they're lighter. Also, don't waste the money on 4x4.

The silence of these dudes is unbelievable. I often use them when scouting herds and deer early season.

Usually a convert cart can run you around 4-7 grand. Much better than buying a Stealth or Badboy Buggie.

So you're admitting you're an outlaw.
