First off I think Lee should see some playing time. But geez people is Jefferson so bad that a guy comes in and throws a little five yard pass and hands the ball off a couple times and he is the savior? Dont forget a world where multiple pic-sixes per game was a given. Shouldn't we stay behind the QB who's winning us games?

JJ was not the reason why we won last night

JJ won't win us games. He doesn't lose us games either. That is not going to cut it though, there is going to be at least 1 game that we need our Quarterback to win for us.

I think he had just one game with multiple pick sixes, but I get your point. At this rate, is he going to win us many more games next season?

JJ has won LSU exactly 1 game in his entire LSU career bub. That was the Georgia Tech game.

He's been playing when LSU has won the rest, but not been the reason we've won any of them.

I thought this year was the year. This is about the same time it started to click for JR RS soph but man to see him back there and doesn't look like he is checking down,,,i saw rb running open in the flat all game and mitchell runnin open down the middle of the field while he was glued on one receiver. I would see how he responds but right now the qb is holding back the offense. I would say them forcing sheperd to be a receiver is bad too because his hands arent where they need to be,,,,,but oh well.

I say take a chance on having a great year with Lee or be doomed to mediocrity with JJ!!

It is that simple. I will take a chance on losing to a cupcake for a possible SEC title.

I don't think anyone here thinks JL is going to take us to a championship, but he deserves an even amount of playing time. It certainly can't hurt.

I see the point in letting Lee play some to see if he has got the it factor. Truthfully, last night after the game I was in the same boat and was like man lee is our guy. However, if he gets a little playing time and screws up are yall gonna be satisifed with jj?

Tdeucen: I was talking bout the length of the pass not YAC.

TRUE DAT

I have said before, if we don't win the SEC west, I don't care if we lose 4 or 5 games vs 3.

With JJ I don't see us having a CHANCE to compete for the SEC west title.

Im sorry but I dont think either QB is gonna get us the west. Alabama just looked to damn good. We need that guy from Auburn under center if want a chance at the SECCG.

But by placing the ball where he did the receiver was able to gain YAC, QB must be given some credit for that. I thought JJ had developed that skill based on a couple of passes in the UNC game, but last night everything was poorly placed resulting in drops, or catches with no ability for YAC.

Lee's one pass doesn't tell us anything, but JJ's performance thus far tells us that we need to try some different things, one being Lee.

I agree that JL is not the answer, but the combination of Lee and Jefferson might make us more apt to win.

Im open to the 2 QB system but they have been fightin each other so hard for the spot it may be too bitter b/w them to adopt a dual QB system.

It took multiple dropped touchdowns to beat UNC's JV squad and he couldn't break the century mark against Vandy. JJ hasn't won shite this year.

I say equal playing time only becasue I don't think this team is a quarterback driven team. Like our most recent championship teams, this one is going to be as successful as our defense and running game.

We held Vandy to ~135 total yards, while rushing for around 280. I think the defense is good enough to stop every team we will face, and our running game is good enough to be successful against them too.

Both QB's have enough talent to do their part and not screw up, which is all the team needs to be successful. Big passing is fun to watch, but so are wins. And I think the best chance for the latter is to operate as a running team with a badass defense.

Longer than I wanted (twss) but my .02

He certainly hasnt lost. Lee played us tight on La tech and JJ gave us a marginal win over Vandy. Who do you want at QB again?
