Dandy Don had this posted about the scrimmage. There was no breakdown on who accounts for what. We know JJ had a nice TD pass to Tolliver though which is good. Maybe we will be a 2 QB team. At least it's encouraging to see we did have good QB play.

They probably worked on the redzone package and started the ball inside the 20.

If so the stats wouldn't indicate the ball was moved up and down the field.

Although I hope it was;.

“I felt like Jordan made all the checks and hit some passes,” Miles said. “I thought Jarrett Lee threw well and again, did some things that he really needed to do.

I get the feeling we may be a two qb team this year. Or at least with Les being on the hot seat JJ wont have a long leash.

When Miles was on the Rome show this week Rome asked about JJ and Miles made it a point to include speaking about JL as well.

Dandy Don indicated they tried long drive some though most was under 40 yds. Only one long drive of 70 yds. could mean most of the plays were from the 50 in.

I've noticed Miles always includes JL when talking about the QB position. Whether it's to motivate JJ or prepare everyone for a QB change I don't know. The practice video shows JL throwing better but game situations are different. JL may have the better arm but JJ may handle game situations better (though it didn't show in the Spring game).

LSU does a fantastic job with press relations. If you listen to any interview with a coach or a player, they try to mention as many players as possible. The focus in interviews is the team. Watch the Ridley interview on the official website, you will notice that he names 3 fullbacks and never calls out any particular O-Lineman. It is always the group of guys. He even talks about 6 different RBs.

Miles will talk about both QBs if it was Dan Marino and Andrew Hatch

22/40 = 55%
After stating the obvious... some is probably the only word Miles can use to positively spin JJ's passing effort.

This is what I mean. "Some" and what about Lee? Little over 50% completion rate is low so are they both low or is one low and the other a little better? Guess we won't know until the starter for UNC is named. Right now, it's JJ as best as I can read the reports.

We should probably all forget that most of this work was done in situations close to the goal line where completion percentages usually go down, but nah, lets just keep the negative vibe going

Not true. It was to Terrence Toliver, not Chris.
