There is a fairly new place in Austin on 620 called Stuffed. Have those of you who either live in, or frequent the Austin area tried it out?
It would be fantastic to have a place where I can get decent boudin and sausage this fall.

I'm gonna check it out during lunch. I'll respond back with what I find out.

The boudin was decent. I would give it a B or B-
One owner is from New Roads, La and the other is from Texas.
They have good foods, a Austin prices. And this is by far the best cajun you can find in Austin, TX.
I'll be back to check it out again. But there is a little info.

Thanks Jakalope
It beats boudin in a freezer pack from HEB.

Eaten several things from there (it is about 5 minutes from my house).
For the most part, everything is "pretty good", and like Jackalope said, best you'll get here unless you make it yourself.
The boudin (they keep it steamed, so you can get a link on-the-go) is a little dry and not as spicy as I like. The owner offered that info without me even taking a bite and after 3 or 4 links over the past few weeks, it has been consistent.
Sausage is pretty good, friends raved about the stuffed tenderloin (yep, jalepeno and cream cheese wrapped in bacon), my daughter enjoyed the crawfish stuffed pie, but the stuffed chicken (we got crawfish) isn't something I'll revisit.
One important tidbit, the owner (Tim) will bring some stuff back for you from La. if you want it --- he's stocking Blue Plate Mayo for someone now.
Nice guy, drives in from N.R. on Monday and heads home to see his family for the weekend on Thursdays for the time being.
